Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound pork tenderloin
  • 5 ounces rice noodles (softened)
  • 2 carrots
  • 1/2 cup shredded mint (fresh)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cilantro (fresh)
  • 312 grams rice paper wrappers (24 sheets)
  • 1 lettuce head (boston lettuce)
  • FOR GARLIC MARINADE
  • 3 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons honey

How to Make

  • Step 1: Garlic Marinade: Mix together ingredients in a small bowl.

  • Step 2: Place pork on foil-lined baking sheet; brush on garlic marinade.

  • Step 3: Roast in oven for about 25 minutes or until pork is slightly pink inside.

  • Step 4: Let cool; cut into thin 1 1/2–inch long slices.

  • Step 5: In large bowl, toss together pork, rice noodles, carrots, mint and cilantro

  • Step 6: Fill wide shallow pan with hot water and spread dish towel out on work surface.

  • Step 7: Dip rice wrapper into water for about 3 seconds, until softened, and place it in front of you on towel.

  • Step 8: Place lettuce leaf on lower third of rice wrapper.

  • Step 9: Arrange 2 tablespoons of the noodle mixture on lettuce.

  • Step 10: Fold bottom edge over the filling, tucking in sides; roll up into a tight cylinder.

  • Step 11: Place roll on platter and cover with a damp towel to prevent from drying out.

  • Step 12: Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
