Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 can (15 ounce) chicken broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 celery stalks (cut into large pieces)
  • 1 yellow onion (onion)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon seasoning
  • 4 to 6 pound turkey breast (thawed, 1 breast)
  • 1/4 cup flour (shake-and-blend flour)
  • 1/2 cup water, cold

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a slow cooker, combine broth, water, celery, onion, margarine and Nature's Season

  • Step 2: Heat on HIGH until it simmers.

  • Step 3: Add turkey, breast side down, cover and cook on HIGH for 4 to 6 hours.

  • Step 4: When turkey is cooked, remove from slow cooker and let stand for 10 minutes before slicing.

  • Step 5: Meanwhile, to prepare gravy, strain vegetables, and put broth into a large nonstick skillet.

  • Step 6: Heat to boiling.

  • Step 7: Mix shake-and-blend flour with cold water and stir until flour is dissolved.

  • Step 8: Pour flour mixture into broth and heat, stirring constantly, until gravy is thick and bubbly.

  • Step 9: Serve with hot sliced turkey.
