  • 1 pound boneless pork loin chops (approx 4)
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon oil (canola oil)
  • 2 apples, thinly sliced (medium apples)
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced (medium onion)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cider vinegar

How to Make

  • Step 1: Sprinkle pork chops with thyme, salt and pepper.

  • Step 2: Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium high heat.

  • Step 3: Add pork chops; cover and cook 3 minutes.

  • Step 4: Turn chops; cover and cook an additional 3 to 5 minutes or until pork is no longer pink in center.

  • Step 5: Remove chops from skillet; cover to keep warm.

  • Step 6: Add apples, onion and brown sugar to same skillet; mix well.

  • Step 7: Cover; cook over medium high heat for 5 minutes, stirring once.

  • Step 8: Add vinegar.

  • Step 9: Cook, uncovered, 3 to 6 minutes or until apples and onion are crisp tender and light golden brown, stir occasionally.

  • Step 10: Serve apples over pork chops.
