  • 4 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 1 1/2 cups maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup rum (dark, optional)
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

How to Make

  • Step 1: Melt 2 tablespoons butter in large heavy skillet.

  • Step 2: Brown tenderloins on all sides.

  • Step 3: Remove to shallow baking pan.

  • Step 4: Melt remaining butter in small saucepan.

  • Step 5: Add remaining ingredients and blend well.

  • Step 6: Pour sauce over tenderloins.

  • Step 7: Roast at 350ºF for 30 minutes, basting often, until internal temperature reaches 160ºF.

  • Step 8: Slice into 1-inch slices and drizzle with remaining glaze to serve.
