Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pounds cabbage, shredded (1/2 medium)
  • Ice cube (1 tray)
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup oil (vegetable oil)
  • 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Pepper, 1 pinch

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place shredded cabbage in large bowl, add ice and enough water to cover, refrigerate for 1 hour.

  • Step 2: Drain and dry cabbage.

  • Step 3: In Salad bowl, combine cabbage, green pepper, carrot and onion, gently toss.

  • Step 4: In small bowl, mix remaining ingredients, pour over vegetables and toss well.

  • Step 5: Cover and refrigerate 2 hours.
