Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 cup water (70 to 80 degrees)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened (or margarine, softened)
  • 1 large egg (well beaten)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 1/4 cup bread flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon rosemary
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt

How to Make

  • Step 1: Add water,butter,egg,sugar and seasonings.

  • Step 2: Add flour and make two small " wells " add salt to one and the yeast in the other making sure yeast doesn't touch the water.

  • Step 3: Select dough cycle setting(after a few minutes of mixing,check to see if a small amount of flour or water if needed).

  • Step 4: When dough cycle is completed,place dough on a lightly floured surface and divide dough into 16 pieces and shape into balls

  • Step 5: Place 2 inches apart on greased baking sheets ( I was able to use 1 sheet).

  • Step 6: Cover ,and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes or until doubled in size.

  • Step 7: Bake at 375 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

  • Step 8: Brush with melted butter.
