  • 2 large eggs, beaten

  • 3 cups half and half cream
  • 3 tablespoons vanilla cake mix
  • 2 tablespoons candy sprinkles

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a saucepan, combine milk, sugar, flour and salt.

  • Step 2: Cook, stirring, on medium heat until slightly thickened (approximately 15 min).

  • Step 3: Stir a few tablespoons of the hot milk mixture into the beaten eggs.

  • Step 4: Return egg-milk mixture to saucepan and cook, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes; remove from heat.

  • Step 5: Chill thoroughly.

  • Step 6: Add cake mix vanilla and light cream to the milk mixture. Mix well.

  • Step 7: Churn-freeze and add sprinkles to the churning ice cream.
