  • 1 pound beef sirloin steak (cut into thin strips)
  • 2 teaspoons oil (vegetable oil)
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 can (284 ml) beef broth
  • 150 grams dry instant rice ( Minute Rice, uncooked 1 1/2 cups)
  • 1/2 cup cheese, shredded

How to Make

  • Step 1: Brown meat, remove from skillet, set aside.

  • Step 2: Add garlic, tomatoes, broth and basil to skillet, bring to boil.

  • Step 3: Stir in Minute Rice, return to boil.

  • Step 4: Reduce heart to medium-low; stir in meat.

  • Step 5: Top with cheese.

  • Step 6: Cover. Simmer 5 to 10 minutes or until heated through.
