Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 (300 grams) pita breads
  • 1 tablespoon oil (vegetable or olive oil)
  • 1 can (400 gram) cherry tomatoes (drained)
  • 1/2 cup relish (caramelised onion relish)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 300 grams sausages (4 thin beef sausages, sliced)
  • 1/2 cup capsicum, sliced (drained char-grilled)
  • 2 tablespoon oregano leaves
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 200C/180C fan forced.

  • Step 2: Line an oven tray with baking paper.

  • Step 3: Brush pita bread with oil and place on prepared tray and bake for 5 minutes or until crisp.

  • Step 4: Combine tomatoes and relish in a bowl.

  • Step 5: Top the pita bread with tomato mixture, cheese, sausage, capsicum and half the oregano and bake for 10 minutes or until sausages are golden brown and cooked.

  • Step 6: Serve pizzas sprinkled with red onion and remaining oregano.
