Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 pounds beef flank (steak)
  • 1/3 cup lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 cup mint, fresh (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons ginger, fresh (peeled, minced)
  • 1 tablespoon jalapenos, seeded, minced
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed

How to Make

  • Step 1: Trim fat from steak.

  • Step 2: Combine steak and remaining ingredients in a large Zip-Loc bag. Seal bag and marinate in refrigerator for 8-12 hours.

  • Step 3: Spray grill or broiler with non-stick coating.

  • Step 4: Remove steak from bag, and discard marinade.

  • Step 5: Place steak on grill rack or broiler pan. Cook 8 minutes on each side, or until desired degree of doneness.

  • Step 6: Let steak sit 5 minutes or longer, then cut diagonally across grain into thin slices.
