Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 slices bread, I use white
  • Canned peabeans or or canned navy beans, (out of the can or fridge, NOT HEATED and drained of any juice) as many as you like, loaded about 1 inch thick (I use about 1/2 cup of beans)
  • 1 large slice onion, thinly sliced, (optional)
  • Mayonnaise, as much as you like (I use about 2 teaspoons on each slice of bread)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Put a generous amount of mayonnaise on both slices of bread.

  • Step 2: Add salt and pepper to taste, onto the mayonnaise.

  • Step 3: Put a generous amount of beans onto one slice of bread.

  • Step 4: Top with thin slice of onion. (I love vidalias when they are in season)

  • Step 5: Put top slice of bread onto sandwich, cut and eat.
