Step 1: Preheat oven to 325°F.
Step 2: In a large bowl, beat eggs, sugar and oil until pale in color.
Step 3: Add honey, and mead. Mix.
Step 4: In a second bowl, combine flower, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and ginger.
Step 5: One cup at a time, add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
Step 6: Stir until smooth.
Step 7: Transfer batter to a greased 10 x 14-inch baking dish.
Step 8: Bake for approximately 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out dry.
Step 9: Let cake cool and cut into honeycomb shapes.
Step 10: Drizzle with lavender honey and garnish with fresh lavender flowers, if desired.
