  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

How to Make

  • Step 1: Pour melted butter into 9x9x2 baking dish.

  • Step 2: Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

  • Step 3: Add milk and stir until dough forms.

  • Step 4: Turn dough onto floured surface.

  • Step 5: Knead 10 times.

  • Step 6: Roll or pat into 8-inch square.

  • Step 7: With floured knife, cut square in half.

  • Step 8: Cut each half into 9 strips or rectangle pieces.

  • Step 9: Dip each strip into butter and arrange into square inside baking pan.

  • Step 10: Bake at 450 for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
