The ingredients are:
  • 3 ounces unsweetened chocolate (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons instant coffee
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 cup whipped cream

How to Make

  • Step 1: In large saucepan heat chocolate, coffee, spices, salt, and water over low heat. Stir till chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.

  • Step 2: Heat to boiling and simmer 4 min, stirring constantly.

  • Step 3: Add milk, cover and heat thoroughly, but do not boil.

  • Step 4: Just before serving, whisk briskly, until foamy.

  • Step 5: Pour into cups and top with whipped cream.
