Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 lemon, whole
  • 1 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (extra-virgin)
  • Freshly ground black pepper,to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano (crumbled, optional)
  • Salt, to taste (I used herbed salt from Iceland - will use some crumbled oregano with this when I run out of fancy salt!)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Put shrimp, grated garlic, oil, zest of the lemon, pepper and salt (and oregano if using) in a skillet on medium-high heat.

  • Step 2: Stir everything together, constantly watching and turning shrimp until they are all pink.

  • Step 3: Squeeze a bit of the lemon over shrimp before serving.
