Step 1: Saute the ground beef in a pot over medium heat with canola oil until it loses pink color.
Step 2: Stir in the chopped onions and continue sautéing for 2-3 minutes.
Step 3: Add the carrots and cook for 2-3 more minutes and stir in the chopped cauliflower.
Step 4: Cook for 2-3 minutes and add the sweet peas, salt and hot water.
Step 5: Let mixture come to a boil, reduce the heat and cook on low heat, covered, for about 20-30 minutes or until the vegetables are cooked.
Step 6: Before serving add black pepper and crushed red pepper to taste.
