Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 pound cauliflower, whole (chopped, 1 cauliflower, 2 cups)
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 2 carrots, chopped (2 medium carrots, 1 cup)
  • 1 cup green peas (sweet)
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped (medium onion)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 2 to 3 tablespoon oil (canola oil)
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt (to taste)
  • 1/2 cup water (hot)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Saute the ground beef in a pot over medium heat with canola oil until it loses pink color.

  • Step 2: Stir in the chopped onions and continue sautéing for 2-3 minutes.

  • Step 3: Add the carrots and cook for 2-3 more minutes and stir in the chopped cauliflower.

  • Step 4: Cook for 2-3 minutes and add the sweet peas, salt and hot water.

  • Step 5: Let mixture come to a boil, reduce the heat and cook on low heat, covered, for about 20-30 minutes or until the vegetables are cooked.

  • Step 6: Before serving add black pepper and crushed red pepper to taste.
