  • 3 ounces cucumber (1/2 of a medium cucumber)
  • 1 ounce carrot (1/2 of a medium carrot)
  • 8 ounces yogurt (plain unsweetened, 1 cup)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground fennel seed
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground coriander seed
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, to garnish (optional)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Wash and peel the cucumber and chop it very finely. (see NOTE in description)

  • Step 2: Wash and peel he carrot and chop it very finely

  • Step 3: In a bowl, beat the yogurt until smooth. Add the cucumber and carrot to the yogurt.

  • Step 4: Add the spices and salt, to taste.

  • Step 5: Garnish with cilantro leaves, if desired.
