Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 6 ounces cooked roast beef (diced)
  • 2/3 cup rice (dry)
  • 2 tablespoons oil (vegetable oil)
  • 1 1/2 cups water (boiling)
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 ounces celery (2 stalks, chopped)
  • 4 ounce green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 12 grams beef bouillon cube (1 cube, or vegetable)
  • 4 ounce yellow onion, chopped

How to Make

  • Step 1: In large skillet cook rice briefly in hot oil over medium heat until golden brown, taking care not to let it burn.

  • Step 2: Add salt, water, bouillon cube, and soy sauce.

  • Step 3: Cover and simmer 20 minutes.

  • Step 4: Add other ingredients and cover tightly, simmer 10 minutes more.

  • Step 5: Add more water if needed but all water should be absorbed by the end of the cooking time. If it isn't, remove lid and let the liquid evaporate.
