Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • NOTE: Cooked spaghetti is using
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sherry
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 chilli pepper (red chili, seeded and finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, chopped (root ginger, finely chopped)
  • 6 shallots, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 pounds shrimp (green prawns, shelled and deveined)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine the tomato sauce with the sherry and sugar.

  • Step 2: Heat oil in a wok over a medium heat, add the chilli, garlic and ginger. Stir in the shallots and tomato mix and simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  • Step 3: Add the prawns and simmer until just cooked.

  • Step 4: Serve on a bed of spaghetti garnished with chopped parsley.
