Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds (black)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup flaxseeds (brown)
  • 1/4 cup pepitas
  • 1/4 cup amaranth
  • 3/4 cup water (warm)
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine seeds, pepitas and amaranth in a bowl and add warm water and set aside, stirring occasionally for 20 minutes or until water is absorbed and then stir in salt and season with pepper.

  • Step 2: Preheat oven to 160C/140C fan forced.

  • Step 3: Line a large baking tray with baking paper.

  • Step 4: Spoon mixture onto prepared tray, spreading until 5mm thick and bake for 1 hour or until golden and crisp.

  • Step 5: Cool on tray.
