Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 yellow onions, chopped
  • 3 chili peppers (red chillies, sliced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 500 grams potatoes (cubed)
  • 1 lime, whole (juiced)
  • 4 ounces yogurt (natural, 1/2 cup)
  • 1 cup vegetable stock
  • 1 cup green peas
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro, finely chopped

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat the oil in a large pan. Add the onions and cook over a low heat until soft. Throw in the chillies,potatoes and spices, and cook for 1 minute. Stir lime juice.

  • Step 2: Add the yogurt and stock. Simmer slowly for 20 minutes until the potatoes are soft and the sauce has reduced. Stir through the peas and cook for another 5 mins. Sprinkle over with cilantro. Adjust seasoning and serve.
