Step 1: Place beans in a steamer basket over boiling water.
Step 2: Steam for about 6 minutes, until beans are tender crisp.
Step 3: While beans are steaming, cook bacon, onions and garlic over medium heat in a 10 inch non-stick skillet until bacon is crisp and onions are tender, about 5 minutes; be careful not to burn.
Step 4: Remove skillet from heat.
Step 5: Add honey mustard and lemon juice.
Step 6: Mix well.
Step 7: Add beans and stir to coat beans with onion-bacon mixture.
Step 8: Sprinkle with salt and pepper and serve immediately.
