Step 1: Heat oven to 350 F.
Step 2: Cook and drain pasta; rinse under cold water; drain well and set aside.
Step 3: In a skillet, cook beef until no longer pink. Drain fat. Add in onion, garlic, chili powder, salt and pepper and cook for around 3-4 minutes or until softened.
Step 4: Add the cooked pasta to the saucepan. Stir in 1/2 cup cheddar cheese and 1 cup mozzarella cheese. Spoon into a casserole dish. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese.
Step 5: Bake uncovered for 30 to 40 minutes or until hot in the centre.
