Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1.5 kilograms chicken drumsticks (12 small)
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Coriander leaves, chopped to serve
  • Spring onion, chopped to served
  • Plum sauce, to serve

How to Make

  • Step 1: Using a small knife, cut drumsticks around the bone below the knuckle and holding the end and push meat down to form a rough ball and clean the exposed bone.

  • Step 2: Preheat oven to 180C.

  • Step 3: Line a baking tray with baking paper.

  • Step 4: In a bowl, combine sauces, sugar and garlic and add chicken, turning to coat and marinate of 20 minutes.

  • Step 5: Transfer drumsticks to prepared tray and bake for 45 minutes, turning halfway through cooking time.

  • Step 6: Garnish with coriander and spring onion and serve with plum sauce.
