Step 1: Heat oil in a wok over medium heat and add garlic, ginger and chilli and cook for 3 minutes.
Step 2: Add wine, soy sauce, 1/4 cup water and sesame oil and bring to a gentle boil.
Step 3: Blend cornflour with 1 tablespoon water until smooth and add to wok and simmer until sauce thickens slightly.
Step 4: Steam broccoli for 8 minutes or until tender and add peas and cook for a further 2 minutes.
Step 5: Add steamed vegetable to warm sauce and serve topped with toasted almonds.
