Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/4 pounds asparagus (1 bunch, about 12-15 spears, woody ends trimmed)
  • Melted butter
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

How to Make

  • Step 1: Line a baking sheet with some tinfoil. Place the asparagus spears on the baking sheet Brush each spear with the melted butter. In a small bowl combine the garlic powder, onion powder and pepper. Sprinkle the seasoning over asparagus, then the parmesan cheese over the top.

  • Step 2: Place in a 400 degree oven for 15 minutes. Remove and top with the mozzarella cheese and a little sprinkling of Italian seasoning over the top. Return to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes to melt the cheese and let it begin to brown.
