Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 100 grams whole wheat flour (2/3 cup wholemeal plain flour)
  • 1 teaspoon dried yeast
  • 1/4 teaspoon olive oil
  • 5 tablespoon water (lukewarm)
  • 60 ml crushed tomatoes (no-added-salt, 1/4 cup)
  • 30 grams salami (Hungarian salami, Don Reduced fat mild brand recommended, cut into thin strips)
  • 85 grams red capsicum (1/2 capsicum, cut into pieces)
  • 80 grams asparagus (1/2 bunch, woody ends trimmed, diagonally sliced)
  • 50 grams bocconcini, sliced (baby bocconcini)
  • 1/2 cup basil leaves (small leaves)
  • FOR SALAD
  • 50 grams snow peas (trimmed, diagonally sliced)
  • 1 cup watercress (or baby spinach leaves)
  • 3 radish, thinly sliced
  • Fresh lemon juice, squeeze

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine flour and yeast in a medium bowl and add oil and water and mix until well combined.

  • Step 2: Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth and transfer to a lightly oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap and set aside for 15 minutes.

  • Step 3: Preheat oven to 210C (fan forced).

  • Step 4: Spray a 27cm (base measurement) round pizza tray with cooking spray.

  • Step 5: Roll out dough to line base of prepared tray and spread tomato over dough and top with salami. capsicum and asparagus and bake for 12 minutes.

  • Step 6: Arrange cheese over top and bake for 5 minutes.

  • Step 7: Top pizza with basil leaves.

  • Step 8: To make salad, combine snow peas, watercress, radish and lemon juice in a medium bowl and serve salad with pizza.
