  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2/3 cup yellow onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 can (8 ounce) tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 package (8 ounce) low-fat cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Baked tortilla chips or crackers

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large skillet, cook beef, onion, green pepper and garlic until meat is browned. Drain. Add the tomato sauce, ketchup, sugar, oregano and pepper; simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in cheeses until melted. Transfer to a fondue pot or chafing dish; serve warm with tortilla chips or crackers.
