Step 1: In a small bowl, dissolve coffee granules in water.
Step 2: Pour into an ice cube tray; freeze.
Step 3: In a blender, combine the milk, chocolate syrup and coffee ice cubes. Cover and process until smooth.
Step 4: Add crushed ice; blend.
Step 5: Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately.
Step 6: Garnish with whipped topping and additional chocolate syrup if desired.
