Step 1: Line a large baking tray with baking paper.
Step 2: Cook popcorn following packet directions and transfer to a large bowl, discarding any un-popped corn.
Step 3: Place butter, sugar and honey in a saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring, for 3 o 4 minutes or until sugar has dissolved and then bring the mixture to the boil and boil, without stirring, for 5 to 7 minutes or until light golden.
Step 4: Stir in chilli (can be omitted to make kid friendly) and working quickly pour caramel mixture over popcorn, stirring to coat and then spread mixture over prepared tray and set aside to cool completely.
Step 5: Break into pieces and serve.
