Step 1: Preheat the oil in the deep fryer ( peanut is best) to 350 or standard setting.
Step 2: Mix the flour and spices in a large plastic bag -shake until well mixed.
Step 3: Place the chicken wings into the buttermilk and let sit for a few minutes, then 2 pieces at a time, shake in the flour- set aside the wings for 10 minutes.
Step 4: Deep fry for 10 minutes in one or two batches ( depends on size of fryer, dont crowd)- remove and drain on paper towels.
Step 5: Serve with ranch dressing, honey mustard and/or sweet and sour dip OR toss with prepared buffalo wing dressing.
