Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 300 grams ground chicken (mince)
  • 1/4 cup flat leaf parsley, chopped
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose (plain)
  • 125 grams cheddar cheese
  • 4 sheets (440 grams) frozen puff pastry (thawed)
  • Sweet Chilli, plum or tomato sauce, to serve

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 220C/200C fan forced.

  • Step 2: Line a large tray with baking paper.

  • Step 3: Combine mince, parsley, 1 egg and flour in a large bowl.

  • Step 4: Cut cheese into 16 pieces and divide mince mixture into 16 portions and shape each portion of mince around a piece of cheese and roll to enclose cheese.

  • Step 5: Cut each sheet of pastry into quarters and place a portion of mince in the centre of each of the pastry pieces and gather pastry over the mince to form a bag.

  • Step 6: Whisk remain egg in a bowl and brush over pastries.

  • Step 7: Place bags onto the prepared tray and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked and serve with sauce of choice.
