  • 1 1/2 tablespoons molasses (don't sub honey)
  • 3 teaspoons seasoned rice vinegar
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 3 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (Shirancha, more or less to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
