Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 500 grams ground pork (pork mince)
  • 1 yellow onion finely grated
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons oil (vegetable or peanut oil)
  • 100 grams dried rice noodles (vermicelli)
  • 2 carrots, cut into matchsticks
  • 1 zucchini, whole (cut into matchsticks)
  • 1/2 cup mint leaves, shredded
  • 1/2 cup sweet chilli sauce

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine mince and onion in a bowl.

  • Step 2: Place sesame sees on a plate.

  • Step 3: Shape pork mixture into 12 patties and press each patty into sesame seeds to lightly coat.

  • Step 4: Heat oil in a large frying pan over moderate heat and cook patties, in batches, for 2 minutes each side or until golden brown and cooked through and transfer to a heatproof plate.

  • Step 5: Meanwhile, soak noodles in boiling water in a heatproof bowl for 1 minute and then stir to separate stands and then drain well and add carrot, zucchini, mint and half the sweet chilli sauce and toss to combine.

  • Step 6: Top noodles mixture with patties and serve3d drizzled with the remaining sweet chilli sauce.
