Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F.
Step 2: Combine cookies and butter; reserve 1/4 cup for topping.
Step 3: Press remaining mixture into a 9X13 pan.
Step 4: Bake for 5 minutes in 375°F oven and cool completely.
Step 5: Prepare pudding mix according to package direction, except use only 1 3/4 cup milk. Immediately stir in peanut butter and chocolate. Fold in cool whip.
Step 6: Spread mixture evenly over crust and top with reserved cookie mixture.
Step 7: Cover and chill several hours or overnight.
Step 8: Cut into squares to serve.
Step 9: This can also be frozen.
