Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 can (6 ounce) sauerkraut, drained
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup salad dressing (Thousand Island Dressing)
  • 1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • 2 ounces yellow onion (1/2 small onion, chopped)
  • 150 grams corned beef (crumbled or shredded, 1 cup)
  • 6 ounces Swiss cheese (sliced or shredded)
  • 5 slices hearty (5 ounces) rye bread (cubed into bite-size pieces)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350° F.

  • Step 2: Mix sauerkraut, onion, caraway seeds, 1000 island dressing and sour cream. Spray 8 x 8" baking dish with Pam. Place this mixture on bottom. Crumble corned beef over top and spread to edges. Top with swiss cheese. Drizzle melted butter over bread cubes and pour on top of corned beef, spreading to edges.

  • Step 3: Place in center of oven and bake uncovered 35-45 minutes till golden and toasty.
