Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 cans (29 ounce) sweet potatoes (yams or sweet potatoes in syrup, drained)
  • 1/4 cup creme fraiche
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon cake flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 2/3 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/3 cup almonds, coarsely chopped

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees

  • Step 2: Place the yams in a large bowl. Coarsely mash with a potato masher. Stir in the creme fraiche and the next 6 ingredients (through egg).

  • Step 3: Spoon the potato mixture into an 8 inch square glass or ceramic baking dish coated with cooking spray. Sprinkle with marshmallows and almonds.

  • Step 4: Bake at 375° for 30 minutes or until thoroughly heated and the marshamallows are browned.
