Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 slices (2 ounces) 7-grain bread
  • 4 ounces corned beef (shaved)
  • 2 slices (2 ounces) Swiss Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon mustard (stone ground mustard)
  • FOR SALAD
  • 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons white wine vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon honey
  • Irish whiskey, dash (Jameson's)
  • 1 scallion,chopped
  • Salt, dash
  • Pepper, dash ,to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: To make the slaw: whisk together the mayonnaise, vinegar, honey, whiskey, scallion, salt and pepper. Spread each slice with stone ground mustard.

  • Step 2: On one slice of bread, add slices of Swiss cheese.

  • Step 3: Microwave for 10 seconds and remove.

  • Step 4: Place corned beef on top of the cheese.

  • Step 5: Spoon the coleslaw on top of the beef.

  • Step 6: Top the sandwich with bread. Cut on diagonal.
