The ingredients are:
  • 95 grams dried apricots (diced, 1/2 cups, soaked, drained and ground or chopped)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (sifted)
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup orange juice (strained)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (pieces, broken)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Beat egg. Stir in sugar and butter; mix well.

  • Step 2: Sift flour with baking powder, baking soda and salt.

  • Step 3: Add alternately with orange juice and water to the sugar mixture. Add apricots and nuts; mix well.

  • Step 4: Pam spray a bread pan.

  • Step 5: Bake in loaf pan at 350 degrees F for 1 1/2 hours or until firm when tested.
