  • The following recipe serves 12 people.

Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • FOR BASE
  • 2 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (I use 1 tablespoon)
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped pecans (optional, I use for special ocassions)
  • FOR FILLING
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 4 cups miniature marshmallows (white)
  • 1 can (19 ounce) cherry pie filling (for holiday and special ocassions I add a second can)

How to Make

  • Step 1: BASE, mix graham crumbs, sugar, flour, melted butter and finely chopped pecans(optional) Reserve 1/3 cup for top

  • Step 2: Spread in 9 x 13 pan, bake in 350 oven 5 minutes. Cool

  • Step 3: Whip the 2 cups of whipping cream, fold in the miniature marshmallows. Spread half of the mixture over the graham base.

  • Step 4: Spoon the can of Cherry pie filler carefully over the cream and marshmallow mix.You may wish to add a second can to make for a really lush dessert

  • Step 5: Spoon the rest of the marshmallow cream mix over the cherry pie filling. Sprinkle with the reserved crumbs. (I often top with extra cherry pie filler) Refrigerate
