Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2/3 cup mustard (spicy brown mustard)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup low-sodium teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons grated ginger (fresh)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 steak (1 pound) beef flank (1-inch thick)
  • 8 cups mixed salad greens (washed and torn)
  • 1 medium yellow bell pepper (or orange bell pepper, sliced)
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup dry roasted peanuts (unsalted)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a small bowl combine mustard, water, teriyaki sauce, ginger and garlic.

  • Step 2: Set 1 cup of dressing mixture aside.

  • Step 3: Broil or grill the steak for approximately 10 minutes or until desired tenderness, tuning and basting steak with the remaining dressing mixture.

  • Step 4: Let stand for 5 minutes.

  • Step 5: Place salad greens on plates.

  • Step 6: Thinly slice steak and evenly divide over greens.

  • Step 7: Top with bell peppers, green onion and peanuts, drizzle with dressing and serve.
