Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons oil (olive oil)
  • 16 pearl onions (skins removed)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth (or 1/2 cup vegetable broth)
  • 1 pound peas (frozen)
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1/2 pound mushrooms (button mushrooms, cleaned)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat the oil in a skillet and lightly brown the onions

  • Step 2: Pour in the broth and cook until the broth is reduced and the onions are still slightly undercooked - 4 minutes.

  • Step 3: Add butter and mushrooms to the pan, stir fry until the mushrooms are browned.

  • Step 4: Add peas, Cover and heat through. Season with salt and pepper Serve
