  • 185 grams dry white rice (rinsed and drained well, 1 cup dry)
  • 1 3/4 cups water (cold)
  • Salt, pinch

How to Make

  • Step 1: Add the rice, water and salt to a pot- over high, bring to a boil with the cover off.

  • Step 2: When at a boil, turn the temperature down to a simmer, place a tight fitting cover on and let simmer undisturbed for 10 minutes.

  • Step 3: Turn the heat off , keep the cover on, and left sit for another 10 minutes.
