Step 1: Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat well. Stir in the sifted flour, cocoa, bicarbonate soda and salt and add the nuts
Step 2: Spoon heaped tablespoons of mixture onto a greased baking tray, allowing room for spreading
Step 3: Bake in a moderately hot oven 190°C for 14-16 minutes or until cooked.
Step 4: Cool on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container until required
