Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • Hot pepper sauce (4 to 4 drops, Tabasco)
  • 1 cup green cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup red cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 cup carrot, shredded
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 4 (204 grams) whole wheat tortillas (8-inch, fat-free)
  • 1 avocado, whole (Haas, pitted, peeled and cut into 1/2 inch dice)
  • 1 tomato, whole (diced)
  • 1/2 cup manchego cheese (other firm flavorful cheese can be subbed)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large bowl whisk together first 5 ingredients (-hot pepper sauce). Add vegetables (-cilantro); toss and let stand for 10 minutes.

  • Step 2: Lay tortillas on a work surface. Divide cabbage mixture evenly among the tortillas, top each with 1/4 of the avocado, 1/4 of the tomato and 2 tablespoons manchego. Roll up tortillas to enclose filling and cut each wrap in half.
