Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound skin-on salmon
  • 1 teaspoon Emeril Essence seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon oil (vegetable oil)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Crush the garlic and salt together into a paste with a mortar and pestle and rub over the meaty part of the salmon.

  • Step 2: Sprinkle the Emeril Essence over the meaty part of the salmon and let sit for 10 minutes.

  • Step 3: Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and place the seasoned side down into the skillet; cook uncovered for 5 minutes or until you have a nice thin crust over the fish.

  • Step 4: Turn the fish over skin side down and add 2 tablespoons water, cover and cook for another 3-5 minutes or until fish is cooked through and flakes when poked with a fork. (This will depend on how thick your fish pieces are)
