Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 pounds pork loin chops (about 8 boneless or 6 bone-in chops)
  • 1 package fresh (8 ounces) sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 teaspoons dried basil (rubbed)
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme (rubbed)
  • Garlic salt & ground black pepper
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups whipping cream
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated (you could use a little more)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Season pork chops with garlic salt and pepper. Add to skillet and brown for about 2 minutes on each side to brown. Pour in wine into skillet and continue cooking for 6 minutes. Remove chops from pan.

  • Step 2: Add mushrooms, basil and thyme cook until just softened and all liquid is evaporated.

  • Step 3: In a bowl, whisk flour with cream and Dijon mustard; add to skillet, then add Parmesan cheese; mix well, bring to a simmer. Add chops back to skillet; cook on on med-high heat, partially covered, stirring frequently until chops are tender, about 20 minutes or longer depending on the thickness of the pork chops. Season with more pepper and some salt if needed. Serve!
