Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard (grainy)
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh rosemary (or 1 teaspoon dried)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons minced fresh thyme (or 1/2 teaspoon dried)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper (or to taste)
  • 1 1/2 pounds beef sirloin (thick cut sirloin steak, cut into 1 1/2 inch chunks, 680 grams)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Whisk together all marinade ingredients in a small bowl.

  • Step 2: Place steak cubes in a large, heavy-duty, resealable plastic bag.

  • Step 3: Add marinade and seal bag.

  • Step 4: Turn bag several times to coat steak evenly with marinade.

  • Step 5: Marinate in refrigerator for at least 1 hour (longer if possible).

  • Step 6: Preheat grill to high setting.

  • Step 7: Thread steak cubes onto skewers. Discard marinade.

  • Step 8: Place kebobs on a grill rack that has been lightly brushed with oil. Close lid.

  • Step 9: Grill for 8 to 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until meat is cooked to desired degree of doneness.
