Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 acorn (1 pound) squash (or butternut squash, peeled, seeds removed,cut into 1 1/2" cubes, 6 cups)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil balsamic dressing
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar (or splenda brown sugar)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary (or 1 teaspoon fresh chopped rosemary)
  • 2 apples (peeled, cored, cut into 8 wedges each, 4 cups)
  • 1 medium yellow onion (peeled, cut into 8 wedges, 2 cups)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven 375.

  • Step 2: Place prepared squash on a foil liked rimmed baking sheet.

  • Step 3: Bake for 25 minutes.

  • Step 4: Cool for 5 minutes.

  • Step 5: Mix together the dressing, sugar & rosemary.

  • Step 6: Place all the ingredients in a large plastic bag.

  • Step 7: Shake well to evenly coat the squash.

  • Step 8: Pour back on the baking sheet in one layer.

  • Step 9: Return to oven for a further 30 minutes.

  • Step 10: Turn once during baking.
