  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 116 grams dry orzo pasta (dry, 2/3 cup)
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 1 1/2 cups asparagus, sliced (sliced on the diagonal into bite-size pieces)
  • 127 grams frozen peas (1 cup)
  • 4 scallions, sliced
  • 1/4 cup dill, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large saucepan or pot bring broth to a boil over high heat; stir in orzo and carrot and boil for 7 minutes. Stir in asparagus and peas and boil until the orzo is tender (under 5 minutes). Remove from heat.
